Jose Mourinho Plans Competition Against Man U & Chelsea

Portuguese football manager Jose Mourinho is planning a competition against his old team Chelsea and Manchester United over the summer. The Real Madrid boss will be losing player Kaka to the Paris Saint-Germain. However, he is already planning a replacement with his coordinating staff as the club is rumored to be after Luka Modric, the Croatian International.

In fact, the Spurs could wind up losing Bale along with Modric to the Madrid team, which would be devastating for the Tottenham team. However, the Real club is protesting paying over £25 million for Tottenham players who are currently receiving more than £30 million. Football fans will be waiting to see how the team trading plays out.

Jose Mourinho began his career as a player. Later, he made the move to management. With the nickname “The Special One,” the talented coach is responsible for managing the Catalonian club to victory during the Primeira Liga Taca de Portugal competition, and in 2003, the UEFA Cup.

In the early 1990s, Mourinho had several jobs including a physical education teacher, team coach for a youth league and an interpreter for Sir Bobby Robson. After his 2003 win, the talented team manager moved to Chelsea and guided his new team to taking the Premier League title home. This victory ended a fifty-year dry spell for the team. Chelsea also won the League Cup that year.

During his second year of coaching the team, the club took the Community Shield along with the Premier League. In 2007, his managing skills improved even more as he helped his team come home with the FA Cup and the League Cup. After numerous alleged arguments with Chairman Roman Abramovich, Mourinho quit working for the Chelsea team and took his coaching talents to Italy.

Once he began his coaching responsibilities for Italy, Mourinho achieved his first win just three months later with the Supercoppa Italiana. He ended the season by taking the Serie A league title. The skillful coach continued working his magic, and the next year his team won the first treble ever in Italy’s team history. They also won the Serie A league title, the UEFA Champions League and the Coppa Italia.

Italy’s success brought him the honor of becoming the third football manager to achieve two UEFA Champions League titles. In 2010, Mourinho received the FIFA Ballon d’Or Best Coach award. He also switched teams that year and began coaching Real Madrid. The Spanish team won the Copa del Rey during his first year of guiding them, and the next year, Madrid came home with the La Liga title.

Jose Mourinho is the first football team manager to win three top European championships. Therefore, it will be intriguing to see what decisions he’ll make for the rest of this season. After Sahin suffered from numerous injuries, the coach has had to rearrange Alonso’s partners for the starting line-up. Unfortunately, the changes have yet to help Madrid.

With Mourinho’s coaching experience, he may pull off another win for his Real team. However, if he winds up in the unfamiliar position of losing, then fans will be watching for a sportsman worthy reaction or lack thereof.
